About Us

Dr Tony Croke and his wife Tiffani Clingin have been serving the people of Gisborne and surrounding areas since 1994.

In that time, Liberty has become one of the leading chiropractic, counselling and allied health centres in Australia. Some of our clients travel from interstate and overseas to receive our care.

Chiropractor Gisborne

Tony graduated from RMIT in 1992 and moved to Gisborne with Tiffani after a stint in a great practice group in Gippsland. He and Tiffani have three children, two of whom have gone on to study chiropractic.

Tony has studied a wide range of chiropractic techniques. Combined with more than 25 years of experience, this allows him to adapt his approach to suit the needs of every individual.

He has served the profession in a number of roles and was named Victorian Chiropractor of the Year in 2010.

When he’s out of the office, Tony is an unskilled but enthusiastic surfer and skier.

Tiffani has been immersed in the study of contented people for many years.  She graduated from RMIT in 1994 with a Bachelor of Social Work and has 6 years of post-graduate training in psychotherapy and family therapy.  She is a Certified Professional Coach and a trainer for the Effectiveness Training Institute of Australia.

Tiffani works with a range of people, all united in their desire for personal fulfilment. She believes that a therapeutic partnership can support us in mobilising the energy we require to progress in life.

Dr Elise Schott

Elise also graduated from the 5-year RMIT chiropractic program. In her career, she has practiced throughout Ireland and Echuca, where she cared for everyone from newborns to farmers to elite athletes.
Having settled in Gisborne with her husband Matt and Labrador Valerie, you’ll find Elise walking, cooking or playing with pottery clay when she’s out of the office.
Elise has studied a wide range of chiropractic techniques over the last 10 years, with a special interest in women’s health and supporting healthy development in children.
Elise loves caring for families – from the very young to the very young at heart.

Chris Steffanoni

Chris is a remedial massage therapist with an advanced diploma of sports therapy.  He has a background as an athlete, racing road bikes for more than 15 years. This personal experience underpins Chris’s keen interest in treating endurance athletes. Chris also finds it rewarding to help clients with pain management.

His treatment techniques are broad and include Swedish relaxation massage, joint mobilisation, dry needling, electrotherapy and corrective exercise prescription.

Chris grew up in the Macedon Ranges and is very excited about working locally.

Virginia is currently studying Chiropractic at RMIT.  She was checked and received her first spinal adjustment within minutes of her birth.  Virginia’s experience has given her a deep understanding of the importance of a healthy spine and nerve system and the endless ways it helps her to be her best.

In her spare time, Virginia tutors high school students in Maths and English.

Mia lives in Trentham with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, chickens, a great garden and a thriving vegie patch.

She is a qualified naturopath who has worked in a number of clinical settings.  Mia also worked for many years as a photographer (using the creative side of her brain!).

She enjoys sharing her health knowledge and loves working in this caring environment with fun, driven and inspiring people.

Veronica lives with her husband, 3 children, 3 dogs, cat, horse, sheep, muscovy ducks and countless chickens.  She moved to Gisborne to embark on a more sustainable lifestyle for herself and her family and can’t wait to get her veggie patch going.

Veronica loves that the Liberty values are in line with her attitude to life and health and thoroughly enjoys sharing that warmth with the clients.  She loves working locally and being able to interact with her local community and feels privileged to contribute to their better health.

Veronica is very passionate about community and is currently studying Urban and Rural planning at Latrobe in Bendigo and she hopes to one day contribute to positive change in the Macedon Ranges and beyond.

Monte works at Liberty so he can afford old man clothes from Savers and put money away for a car.  He has a side hustle selling original artwork and is studying at Braemar in Mt Macedon. As an artist, Monte appreciates the chance to colour in with children that visit the office.

Mo’s had regular chiropractic care over his lifespan.  His Dad, Dr Tony and two older siblings are chiropractors so Mo deeply understands the importance of a healthy spine and nervous system.

When he’s away from school and work, Monte likes running and swimming and has a black belt in Taekwondo.
